Drivers hailed after no-one caught speeding in Rufford speed check

Police have praised motorists after more than 60 drivers were clocked for their speed in Rufford – and no tickets were issued.

Officers from Nottinghamshire Police’s Sherwood team covering Ollerton, Clipstone and surrounding villages, carried out the operation on Rufford Lane on the morning of June 19.

A team spokesman said: “Officers conducted speed checks after complaints have been made.

“More than 60 vehicles were checked and we are pleased to report that no tickets were issued.”
