Police are appealing for information as the emblem badges from 10 cars parked in the Creswell, Clowne and Bolsover area have been stolen.

Vehicles parked on Morven Street, Portland Avenue, Bluebell Walk, Linden Road, Water Lily Gardens, Kings Close, Willow Close and Welbeck Street in Creswell have been affected.

A Nissan Quashqui parked on Welbeck Road, Bolsover, and a Kia Cee’d parked at the Tesco store in Clowne, have also been targeted.

The incidents have all happened sometime between Thursday, September 12 and Sunday, September 22.

PCSO Matt Wardle, of the Creswell Safer Neighbourhood Policing Team, has been making enquiries in the local area.

He said: “If anyone has any information about these incidents or may have seen anyone acting suspiciously around cars to contact us. I would also ask residents to check their vehicles, as there may be more cars which have been affected.”

Anyone with information should contact Derbyshire police on 101, the non emergency number, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
