Breaking news: Huthwaite shooting: second man charged with attampted murder

A second man has now been charged with attempted murder after a man was shot in Huthwaite last month.

A 29-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to his leg at around 3.30am on Saturday 8th February 2014.

Tristan Caunt, 32, from Nottingham, has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.

Daniel Butler, 30, also from Nottingham, was previously charged in relation to the incident on 12th February.

Caunt will appear at Magistrates Court today (Saturday 1st March).

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and was later discharged. Police said his injury was not life-threatening.
