BOLSOVER: Man robbed of phone at knifepoint

Detectives in Bolsover are appealing for witnesses after a workman was robbed of his mobile phone in the town centre.

At around 1.30pm yesterday (Tuesday, August 13) a 37-year-old man was stood next to his work van in a car park on Town End looking at his mobile phone when he was approached by a man.

The man was holding a small kitchen knife and asked the victim to hand over his mobile phone, which he did.

The offender then left across a grassed area onto Oxcroft Lane. He is described as white, six feet tall, wearing a red shirt, grey bottoms and a dark blue cap.
