Platten, aged 28, of The Avenue, Sutton, made no plea when he appeared before the court regarding the alleged offence, which is said to have taken place at an address in Oswton Road, Annesley.

He will next appear before Nottingham Crown Court on November 24 where it is expected a plea will be entered.
