Ashfield drug dealer caught with stash of heroin receives jail sentence

An Ashfield drug dealer who was caught with stashes cash and heroin has been jailed.

Michael Newton was arrested by officers from Nottinghamshire Police’s Reacher teams after being caught conducting a drug deal in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

Newton, of Station Street, Kirkby-in-Ashfield, was found to be in possession of 32 Wraps of heroin, £320 in cash and “other items consistent with drug dealing such as mobile phones and deal lists,” police said.
