Arrest made after high-speed police chase across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire

An offender was arrested following a high-speed police chase across two counties.

The stolen Civic was pursued by Nottinghamshire Police’s Armed Response Team and Dog Unit into Derbyshire yesterday evening (May 8).

Derbyshire Roads Police tweeted: “Foolish as that now means it's two forces after him.”

The vehicle came to a halt in Erewash and a ‘short chase’ on foot ensued.

Derbyshire Roads Police said the driver was arrested as he was wanted ‘for a multitude of other matters’.
