Arrest after men injured in off-road bike crash in Kirkby

A man was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after a crash involving two off-road motorcycles in Kirkby.

Police called to Skegby Road shortly before 8pm on Sunday found a man under a car with a serious ankle injury.

He and another man were taken to hospital and two off-road style bikes were recovered from the scene.

A 32-year-old man was later arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and released under investigation.
