Appeal after thief posed as tradesman and took cash from Mansfield pensioner
Police are appealing for information after a man posed as a tradesman and took payment for a job that he failed to complete.
The incident occurred on March 12, just before 12:40pm, in Ninth Avenue, Mansfield.
It is believed a man posed as a tradesman and took prior payment, of £130, for a gardening job for the elderly resident but failed to return to complete the work.
A police spokesman said: “We have exhausted other lines of inquiry and are now releasing an image of a person we believe can assist our investigation.”
