120 cannabis plants found in Mansfield house

Police have seized more than 120 cannabis plants from a house in Mansfield.

Officers found the plants in the property in Padley Hill at around 10.40pm on Saturday.

Neighbourhood Inspector Heather Sutton, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Nottinghamshire Police takes drug crime incredibly seriously and we are pleased to have seized a large number of plants in this find.

“Drugs can have a devastating impact on our local communities and it is important that we continue to take proactive action against organised criminals who seek to profit from illegal activity.

“We work closely with communities in order to tackle drug-related crime and we are pleased to have strong relationships with residents who feel confident to share any concerns they have with the police.
