Crews rescue disabled crash casualty

Firefighters freed a disabled driver from his vehicle after he had been involved in a collision with a property in Tibshelf.

The collision happened on the B6039 road, about 10.15pm, on Sunday, January 12.

A Derbyshire fire service spokesman said: “One vehicle had gone into a property and a disabled driver was trapped by the position of the vehicle.

“Crews extricated the casualty and the property was checked to ensure it was safe.”

The firefighters, from Alfreton and Clay Cross, left the scene of the collision shortly after 10.45pm.
