Crews called out to hay blaze
More than 1,000 sq metres of freshly-cut hay went up in flames at a blaze on Sunday afternoon.
Crews from Bolsover were called to Carter Lane in Shirebrook at around 4.41pm and battled the fire for about 45 minutes before bringing it under control.
They spent a short time beating down the area to ensure it could not ignite again before leaving the site at shortly before 5.25pm.
