Create Theatre presents drama, dance, physical theatre and more at show

Dance, drama improvisation, farce and physical theatre are just some of the acts being presented by students to Create Theatre audiences today (16th December).

Focusing on the course work of first year musical theatre and acting students, the Christmas Showcase will bring together their skills and talents over the past year.

The show will see the Level 3 Extended Diploma Performing Arts and Musical Theatre and Acting groups bring comedy improvisation, monologues as well as musicals and tap dancing to their home stage at Create Theatre.

Cat Orton, performing arts tutor, said: “The students have been working hard throughout their first term working on a range of performing arts styles.

“From Dario Fo to Matlida, there is an eclectic mix which showcases the high-standards that the students have achieved this term. “

The performance will run from 6.30pm and costs £4 per person and £3 for concessions. Tickets can be purchased from www.createtheatre.co.uk or by calling 01623 413363.
