MOTORING

Padriac Shaw, 21, of Fairholme Drive, Mansfield. Drove a Vauxhall Vectra on Church Hill, Mansfield Woodhouse, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his blood, namely 67 microgrammes of 100 mililitres of blood, exceeded the legal limit. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Also found guilty of failing to stop when damage to a stone wall was caused by the vehicle. Banned from driving for 38 months. Fined £120. Must also pay court costs of £85 anf a victim surcharge of £30.

Louanne Cheesmond, 34, of Vera Crescent, Rainworth. Drove a Peugeot on Vera Crescent while disqualified from holding or obtaining a driving licence and without an insurance policy in place. Community order made with 60 hours of unpaid work. Banned from driving for a further six months. Must also pay an £85 victim surcharge.

Samuel Bentley, 21, of Beverley Close, Rainworth. Drove a car after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of it in his breath, namely 57 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 mililitres of breath, exceeded the legal limit. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes. Banned from driving for 12 months. Fined £350. Also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and a £35 victim surcharge.

Dale Dexter, 27, of Glenside, Kirkby. Knowing a vehicle had been taken without consent of the owner or lawful authority, drove said vehicle without a licence or insurance. Community order made with programme requirement. Driving record endorsed with six points. Also ordered to oay £85 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £35.

THEFT

Steven Champman, 28, of Common Road, Huthwaite. At Cursham Street, Sutton, stole a BMW, of a value unknown. Fined £150. Also ordered to pay £400 in court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

Simon Thomas, 42, of Coxmoor Road, Sutton. In Sutton, dishonestly received stolen goods, namely power tools to the value of £150. Community order made with rehabilitation activity requirement. Also ordered to pay £85 in court costs and an £85 victim surcharge.

Gary Bryce Frew, 38, of Oak Avenue, Blidworth. Stole five bottles of wine, to the value of £39.95, belogning to McColls Stores. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Also ordered to pay compensation of £39.95 along with a victim surcharge of £20.

Tracey Thorpe, 38, of Oak Avenue, Blidworth. Stole wine and meat products, to the value of approximately £28, belonging to McColls Stores. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Must also pay £28 in compensation and a £20 victim surcharge.

Robert Mallaburn, 39, of Terrace Road, Mansfield. Stole chocolate, to the valuelf £17.97, belonging to WHSmith’s. Stole baked goods, to the value of £17.25, belonging to Greggs. Stole four sets of headphones, worth £4.99 each, belonging to B&M Bargains. Stole sandwiches and batteries, to the value of £100, belonging to Wilkinsons. Stole shavers and accessories, and torches and batteries, to the value of £232.72, belonging to B&M Bargains. Stole coffee, to the value of £19.96, belonging to B&M Bargains. Stole Yankee candles, to the value of £30, belonging to Beales Stores. Suspended sentence activated. Jailed for for 42 weeks. Offence so serious due to persistent offending over a lengthy period. Also ordered to pay £50 in compensation.

DRUGS

Guy Pilmore, 40, of Preston Road, Rainworth. Produced a quantity of cannabis, a controlled drug of Class B. Suspended sentence activated. Jailed for one week. Also ordered to pay an £115 victim surcharge.

Sarah Edwards, 33, of Coxmoor Road, Sutton. Assaulted a police officer in the execution of her duty. Also stole food items, to the value of £38.58, belonging to Asda. Community order made with rehabilitation activity requirement. Also ordered to pay compensation of £100.

Luke Siddon, 25, of Tideswell Court, Mansfield. Assaulted a male by beating him. Also found guilty of assaulting a police officer in the execution of his duty. Community order made with curfew requirement and rehabilitation activity requirement. Also ordered to pay £200 in compensation.

Tyler Ward, 19, of No Fixed Address. At Pepper Street, Sutton, assaulted a female by beating her and damage spectacles of a value unknown belonging to her. Community order made with programme and rehabilitation requirement. Must also carry out 80 hours of paid work. Restraining order made to protect complainant. Ordered to pay £200 in court costs, £100 in court costs and a victim surcharge of £85.

Jayne Davies, 21, of Commercial Gate, Mansfield. Assaulted a female. Community order made with rehabiltation activity requirement. Restraining order made to protect complainant. Fined £35. Also ordered to pay £50 in compensation and a victim surcharge of £85.

Joshua Shelton, 28, of Greenwood Drive, Kirkby. Assaulted two police officers in the execution of his duty. Fined £100. Also ordered to pay £100 in compensation, £85 in court costs and a £30 victim surcharge.

Gary Childerley, 32, of Bosworth Street, Mansfield. Assaulted a female by beating her and damaged an iPad, to the value of £110, belonging to her. Jailed for weeks for 26 weeks suspended for 24 months. Offence so serious as domestic violence involving kicks to the head. Must also pay £85 court costs and a victim surchage of £115.

DISORDER

Abigail Smith, 29, of The Oval, Sutton. At York Street, caused alarm, harrassment, distress or nuisance to persons whn prohibited from doing so by a criminal behaviour order. Fined £80. Also ordered to pay a £30 victim surcharge.

John Harvey, 52, of Grange Farm Close, Sutton. Used or threatened unlawful violence towards another causing a person of reasonable firmness present at the scene to flee for their safety. Jailed for eight weeks suspended for 12 months. Offence so serious as weapon was used in a confined area causing concern of safety for officers. Must also complete a rehabilitation activity requirement, pay compensation of £115, £85 court costs and compensation of £50.

Jasmine Sowter, 53, of Booth Street, Mansfield Woodhouse. Without reasonable excuse, contacted someone by mobile phone when prohibited from doing so by a restraining order. Community order made with an alcohol treatment requirement. Must also pay an £85 victim surcharge.

Ricky Belcher, 28, of Oak Tree Close, Mansfield. Contact a female on numerous occasions when prohibited from doing so by a restraining order before assaulting her. Committed to prison for 18 weeks suspended for 24 months. Also ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £115 and court costs of £85.
