Councillor facing sex charges says he will run for police and crime commissioner
Jason Zadrozny appeared before Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, charged with two counts of raping a boy under the age of 16, four counts of indecent assault on a boy under the age of 16, and three counts of penetrative sexual activity with a boy aged 13 to 15.
Mark Oates, defending, said: “Councillor Zadrozny vehemently denies all charges.”

Hide AdMr Zadrozny, 35, of Sutton Road, Kirkby, was bailed to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on April 27 for the trial.
As part of his bail conditions, Mr Zadrozny was ordered not to contact seven people.
He was also told not to have any unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 18 unless supervised by someone aged over 21 years.
Speaking outside the court afterwards, and flanked by ten supporters, Mr Zadrozny told reporters he intended to run as a candidate for police and crime commissioner in Nottinghamshire.
