Council cuts: outdated attitude
If the local authorities are seriously trying to save money they need to reduce their manpower.
They still have a 1960’s attitude to staffing.
Apparently Notts County Council has more employees than the Army has soldiers,(28,000 according to BBC.)
I can’t imagine what they all find to do all day.
Does anyone know what the annual wage bill is ?
