Costa plans to open at retail park
An application to increase the size of a proposed Costa Coffee at St Peter's Retail Park has been submitted to planners.
The new unit could be built onto the side of Peacock’s clothes store on the Mansfield park, although it would be considerably smaller being just one storey in height.
An application to build on the site was granted in October last year, but the plans have now been revised with an increased floorspace of 38 sq m.
A Costa already exists on Westgate in the town centre.
It comes just months after plans were submitted to build a small unit at the opposite end of the building where Home Bargains sits.
The Mary Street Estate Ltd/BLD Mansfield Ltd are responsible for both applications.
