In a bid to bring the community together and help mums keep fit, Victoria Staples, is holding a community open day for her new business, Messy Monkeyz

She said: “I am targeting mums around Blidworth, Ravenshead and Rainworth who are struggling to get exercise.

“I hope Messy Monkeyz can remove barriers for mums as there is no child care support like this in the area.

“I am a mum myself and found after having my child, I couldn’t find the time to work out.

“I want to bring back an element of community support and spirit to the area and hold this day to get everyone together.”

Sure Start is also working in partnership with Victoria to get the venture off the ground.

The Messy Monkeyz community open day is coming to Blidworth Community Leisure Centre on 7th April from 11.30am till 3pm.

There will be a raffle, play time, party bags and special appearances from Mr Balloony and the group’s monkey mascot on the day.
