On Christmas Eve, a carol service took place led by the Rev Barbara Greenwood. Readings were given by Karen Russell, Sharren Richards, Joyce Cree and Joan Walters. The Peace light was received from Bethlehem, by Steve Cree. After carol singing, which was accompanied by David Richards on the organ, the congregation enjoyed coffee and mince pies. On Christmas morning, the Rev Keith Beecroft, led the service and lit the final advent candle. Anne Clayton, Joan and Russ Walters read lessons from St. Luke. The congregation sang Christmas Carols, and Barrie Sayeg acted as the steward.
Last Sunday week, the service was led by Ian Munro. Margaret Munro led the prayers, and Kathy Smith gave the readings. The advent candles were all lit, and the congregation all reminisced about Christmas’ past.
