Coal staff ‘in the pink’ for breast cancer

Staff at the Coal Authority dug out their best pink gear to support Breast Cancer Campaign’s wear it pink day.

The campaign encourages people to wear pink in the fight against breast cancer by joining people from across the country in the charity’s fundraising event.

Staff at the Mansfield-based organisation have supported several good causes over the past year including the Mansfield Big Snore and the Kings Mill Hospital toy appeal.

Claire Streather from the authority said: “We always make a real effort to be involved.”
