Clumber Park Hotel boss set for Asperger Syndrome fundraiser

CLUMBER Park Hotel and Spa is hosting a charity dinner dance to raise money for a charity close to its manager’s heart.

General manager James Hemming’s son was diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome earlier this year, and now the hotel is holding the event to raise cash for the National Autistic Society on 29th September.

“I’m trekking to Everest Base Camp on 3rd October to help raise money for the society,” James said.

“So the hotel hosting a black-tie charity dinner dance a few days before I’m due to leave, seemed like the perfect way to kick things off.”

Tickets are £30 each and silent auction prizes include signed Lee Westwood memorabilia, a holiday at Tregenna Castle in St. Ives and 1966 World Cup goal scorers’ signed and framed collage.
