Class A’s were a ‘guilty pleasure’

A Blidworth man said drugs found on him by police were for his own personal use.

Jack Marshall, 25 of Aberconway Street, Blidworth pleaded guilty at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court to possessing Heroin and crack cocaine.

Police investigating an unrelated incident spotted Marshall carrying a home made ‘bong’on Southwell Road East on October 2.

When they searched him they found foil wraps containing the class A drugs.

Marshall told police he ‘dabbled’ in class A drugs which were a ‘guilty pleasure’.

He was fined £200 with costs of £85, victim surcharge of £20 and criminal court charge of £180.
