Chimney '˜well alight' in Shirebrook fire
Firefighters tackled a chimney fire in Shirebrook on Sunday afternoon.
The alarm was raised shortly after 2pm, with crews attending the property on Slant Lane to find the chimney ‘well alight’.
A spokeswoman for Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service said specialist equipment was used to extinguish the blaze, with crews leaving the scene around an hour later.
There are no reports of any injuries.
