The youngsters made their creations at a special ‘Season Of History’ workshop, hosted by the B Club at the Four Seasons Shopping Centre, which taught them all about the First World War, Remembrance Sunday and the significance of poppies.

The mural will be displayed in The Hive at the centre, which is also staging a ‘We Will Remember Them’ session of the B Club on Monday, October 29 to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of the Great War. Children will get the chance to add their hand print to a giant Flanders Field art project, as well as learn about the conflict.
