Charity swimathon to take place at Sutton’s Lammas Leisure Centre
Participants are needed to take part in the World’s Biggest Swim, which is hosted by Everyone Active.
The Swimathon will take place at Sutton’s Lammas Leisure Centre on 23rd March.
The event is in aid of Sport Relief, which supports Comic Relief, the charity that fights poverty in the UK and abroad.
Individuals can chose to swim 1.5km (0.9 miles), 2.5km (1.6 miles) or 5km (3.1 miles) and there are team challenges of 1.5km or 5km.
The Swimthon is backed by Olympic swimmer Duncan Goodhew and Paralympic gold medallist, Ellie Simmonds.
