A CHARITY sequence dance night will take place in Staveley in aid of Chad’s King’s Mill Hospital scanner appeal.
The event has been organised by New Houghton woman Pauline Stringfellow and will take place at the Speedwell Room in the town on 17th November between 7.30pm and 11pm.
We have teamed up with King’s Mill Hospital to launch our massive £750,000 campaign to help hospital bosses purchase a state-of-the-art MRI scanner.
The new facility will treat hundreds of thousands of patients over the next seven years and allow the hospital to offer quicker, safer and more detailed diagnosis.
Caring Pauline is a regular fundraiser and has helped raise thousands of pounds for The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance service.
Said Pauline: “I have organised events like this before for the Air Ambulance service and have raised a lot of money.
“A few years ago my husband needed an MRI at King’s Mill Hospital and now it is my time to pay the hospital back. I hope to raise £1,000, but whatever I get is a bonus.”
Donations to our MRI appeal can be made by visiting Chad receptions, calling the customer services department at King’s Mill Hospital on 01623 672222, by visiting Sherwood Forest Hospital’s NHS Trust website, through Just Giving or by cheque.
All cheques should be made payable to Sherwood Forest Hospitals Charitable Funds.
