Chad readers raising money for Guide Dogs for the Blind -Current total £960.59 towards dog No 288

THERE’s an early festive fillip to the fund for our 288th dog with a variety of donations from friends old and new.

This week’s contributions include £10 “Just Because”; £200 made up of countless donations, small and large, left by customers of Mick Radford Electrical, Carter Lane, Mansfield, which has been a long-time supporter of Chad’s community charity for more than 20 years; £10 “in loving memory of Lesley Ann Houseley” and £60 “in loving memory of Joan Salmon, 16th November” from husband Alan, daughter Carole and Fred, Alison and Ian, and James, and the boxer dog Boosh.

Making a contribution towards the £2,500 target for our latest dog -- the fund currently stands at £960.59 -- could not be easier as cash donations can be left at Chad’s main reception office at Newgate Lane, Mansfield, where there is ample, free parking, or sent by post (cheques/ postal orders only please made out to Chad’s Guide Dogs for the Blind Fund) and sent to: The Editor, Chad, 121 Newgate Lane, Mansfield, Notts, NG18 2PA.

If you have any queries regarding donations to Chad’s long-standing fund, which for more than 40 years, has been helping visually impaired people become more independent, please contact Chad’s Editorial Department on Mansfield 450294 during office hours.
