Celebrations to continue for Mansfield market

A celebration of local markets has been launched with a series of events planned in Mansfield.

‘Love your Local Market’ fortnight was launched last week with a bid to boost footfall by providing entertainment and unique stalls.

So far, a children’s speciality market selling pre-loved children’s toys, books and clothes has taken place, along with an arts and crafts market.

This Saturday, May 28, will se a family fun day with face painting,animals from White Post Farm, a May Pole Dancing workshop, while West Notts College will be hosting a DJ set.

Tuesday, May 31, will also see an environment day with stalls taken by local environment organisations. Free Mansfield Market re-usable shopping bags will be given out with purchases.
