A celebration concert is being organised this weekend by the Thoresby Colliery Band.
In conjunction with the National Trust it well also mark the grand opening of the bandroom at The Park Inn Club, Hardwick Village in Clumber Park.
Arranged for tomorrow evening (Saturday, 15th June) the celebrations will start with a concert outside the band’s new home in Hardwick Village from 2-4pm followed by the official opening of the bandroom and then a barbeque and ceilidh.
Tickets are £10 each (children under 16 £5) to include free entry into Clumber. People can park all day and there is a free barbeque food and also free entry to the ceilidh in the evening.
The Park Inn in Hardwick village which adjoins the bandroom will be open all day for drinks and the concert will be performed under cover in the event of rain but will go ahead whatever the weather.
