Cash boost to sea scout group from scooter fanatics

Members of the Mansfield Road Runners scooter club paid a visit to the Fifth Mansfield Sea Scout Group, in Devon Drive, and presented them with a cheque for £300.

The money will go towards providing new life jackets for the sea-faring youngsters.

Lee Giles from the scout group told Chad: “Members of the scooter club visited our cubs with around 40 scooters and the kids absolutely loved it.”

Club members also recently donated to a Nottinghamshire dog charity.
