Cash boost for Ravenshead club

A Ravenshead financial firm is recycling used printer and photocopier cartridges and old mobile phones, and donating the proceeds to help support an older people’s club in the village.

Adcock Financial has been acting as a collection point since February and has raised over £180 for the Cornwater Club.

The club meets three times per week to provide activities, stimulation and friendship for older residents of Ravenshead, Blidworth and neighbouring communities.

Club spokesman Melissa Blythe said: “We’re very grateful to all the staff at Adcock Financial for their support.”
