Carer scheme will be extended to 2015

It was approved this week by Nottinghamshire County Council’s and will help provide faster support and advice service for local carers.

It followed a survey of carers which revealed that a third of respondents found that information was difficult to find.

Team members have so far carried out 681 carer’s assessments to identify their needs and establish if they are eligible for a one-off personal budget of £150 to £200.
