Car spotted driving wrong way on one way system in Mansfield

Two eagle eyed PCSOs noticed a vehicle traveling the wrong way up the one way system in Mansfield Town Centre.

The PCSOs turned their vehicle around to talk to the driver.

But by this time the driver had continued on his journey.

Moments later they spotted the vehicle trying to turn into oncoming traffic on St Peters Way.

They quickly jumped out their vehicle to stop the driver traveling any further.

After running the details through the police national computer they found the driver had no insurance or a valid UK license.

Response Officers attended and dealt with the male and had the vehicle recovered.
