He writes: “The Chad has done a story regarding the free parking at Ashfield council car parks.
“I want to draw attention to the hundreds of people getting tickets as they dont realise that although its free you need a ticket.
“Today I have been into town and there were over 20 cars all with parking fines on them and local traders told us that they are dishing out 100s of tickets a day.
“This needs to be in the public eye so everyone knows.”
