Insp Nick Butler of Hucknall police said this was good news for the town and shows residents that action is being taken by his team.

“We’ve been taking positive action with regards community concerns around drug related crime and these warrants and subsequent charges are as a result of that,” said Insp Butler. “This is a start of our enforcement campaign against drugs in the district following the reaction from residents as part of our goal setting priority survey.”

Carl Greatorex, 44, of Wenlock Drive, who was living at the Broomhill Road address at the time, has been charged this week with the production of cannabis, possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis, the supply of cocaine and cannabis, and acquiring criminal property following the operation held in December last year.

A woman, who was also living at the address, has been summonsed to court to face the same charges.

The pair will appear before Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on 11th June 2015.
