Calm before the storm...brighter spells expected before torrential rain
Rain looks set to ease this morning and sunshine is expected this afternoon.
Temperatures will reach up to 15c by teatime, and it will remain dry into the evening.
However, the good spell will be shortlived as the back end of Tropical Storm Henri, coming in from Bermuda, and will bring with it more rain.
It is expected to reach Nottinghamshire by late morning and heavy downpours are expected throughout the afternoon and all night.
