A SUTTON car supermarket has announced an increased turnover of 20 per cent this year.

Sales at AvailableCar, which is located just off the A38, has soared since January resulting in more than 30 new members of staff being recruited from across the region over the last few weeks.

The new jobs are in range of roles, including sales, administration, vehicle preparation and smart repair.

It is welcome news for the Sutton firm, which has gone front strength to strength despite the current tough sales climate in the motor trade.

Paul Arscott Operations Director said: “We feel that by having good quality low priced cars, we have appealed to a wider target market over the last year, as people have undoubtedly been more price-aware.

“Many customers who once bought new cars are now coming to AvailableCar and choosing nearly new models that are perhaps a year or two years old.

“This is a clever way to save the thousands of pounds your car will depreciate by, once driven out of the new car showroom.

“We are very positive about how the last year has performed for AvailableCar and we are looking forward to working with so many new faces.

“We feel that we are now ready to invest in the Midlands further by seeking out a potential new site as well as steadily increasing our teams even more.”

AvailableCar have also been ensuring that they have increased their car stock levels, which offers over 36 different brands of cars priced at £3000 through to £23,000,

AvailableCar are an award-winning used car supermarket which opened its doors in 2002. They currently have two site locations, one in Sutton-In-Ashfield and one in Castle Donington.
