The next phase of redeveloping the entrance from the bus station to the Four Seasons shopping centre in Mansfield will begin in the New Year.
A new screen and doors will be added to the entrance, so the new toilets and retail units sit within the shopping centre making it a more pleasant environment for visitors.
During the construction, the entrance will be closed from 5pm on Saturday 14th January to midnight on Friday 20th January. It will then be open as normal from Saturday 21st January.
The project has seen a complete redesign of the toilets and surrounding area within the centre. The project has been carried out by contractors J Tomlinson Ltd and is estimated to cost £500,000, allocated from Mansfield District Council’s General Fund and Capital Programme fund.
Cllr Kate Allsop, Portfolio Holder for Economic Regeneration at Mansfield District Council, said: “This latest stage of works to the entrance to the Four Seasons will compliment the recently completed new toilet facilities and create a more welcoming entrance for shoppers.”
