Shopping centre reports holiday sales boost

EAST Midlands Designer Outlet McArthurGlen’s has reported year-on-year increases in sales and footfall for the Easter weekend.

Sales were up 30 per cent and football 29 per cent compared with Easter last year.

Sales of womenswear rose by 25 per cent and home furnishings 40 per cent year on year.

The Easter results follow steady quarterly UK sales growth for McArthurGlen East Midlands, which is at South Normanton.
