A motorist was taken to hospital after colliding with an electricity box at the B6407 at Shirebrook on Monday (9th September).
The incident happened at around 5pm on the Pleasley Island and crews from Bolsover and Shirebrook attended, and cut the motorost from the vehicle.
Police and ambulance service staff were also in attendance, and the fire service’s major incident unit was also mobilised, but was returned to base without being needed.
The driver was taken to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment. The motorist’s condition is not known.
