BOSSES at Mansfield’s The Mint Indian Restaurant and Chow Oriental say they are proud to be sponsoring this year’s Chad Business Awards.
The fourth edition of our awards will once again find and reward the very best local companies and entrepreneurs.
There are some top prizes up for grabs, ranging from Business Idea of the Year and Young Business Person of the Year to Community Contribution of the Year and Most Innovative Property/Building Development.
Main sponsor for 2012 is The Mint, which has been rated one of Midlands’ best Indian restaurants.
The restaurant has either won or been in line for many top awards, including Asian Curry Awards 2011 – East Midlands’ winners, Spice Times Restaurant Awards 2011 – finalists and most recently Just Eat Tried & Tested Award 2012 – Best in Mansfield.
The restaurant sponsors several local businesses and ventures, including Stags, school sports teams, Mansfield Bowling Team and Miss Mansfield.
Staff have also taken part in community events such as Mansfield Diamond Jubilee Food Fair, Macmillan Cancer Support charity nights and recently Chad’s MRI appeal.
This year, The Mint branched out and opened a new restaurant, Chow Oriental, on St. Peters Way, Mansfield, which serves Chinese and Thai cuisine.
Shofiqul Choudhury, from the restaurant, said: “This year The Mint will be proudly supporting the Chad Business Awards 2012 as main sponsors and supporting many local businesses for excellence.”
This year’s awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 22nd November with a glittering event at the John Fretwell Sporting Complex at Sookholme, where the best of the area’s business community will be showcased.
The black tie event will see guests enjoy a champagne reception, four-course meal and ceremony.
