A NEW partnership has been launched which will see 2020 Breakfast join forces with Mansfield Rotary Club.
The agreement between the two was made during Thursday’s meeting at the Civic Centre in Mansfield, and Stewart Rickersey of the Rotary Club said: “The partner membership scheme with Mansfield 2020 is a unique concept and innovative pilot scheme that Mansfield Rotary Club is involved in.
“There are just 200 clubs worldwide taking part in what will eventually bring forward some proposals from Rotary International.”
20/20 is open to businesses and meets for breakfast meetings monthly to allow members to network.
The partnership with Rotary allow members of 20/20 to join in with Rotary activities without having to make the full commitment, including social, sporting, fundraising or community service based.
However, they would also be expected to help out at Rotary events and support social functions. Membership for 20/20 members is £72 a year but is limited to two years.
20/20 members are now being invited to March and April Rotary meetings.
