Baggaley Construction has promoted Mark Greasby to the role of construction director, a move that comes almost 20 years since he joined the company as a management trainee.

Mark will take responsibility for operational delivery within the Construct and Projects divisions, succeeding Barry Dalby, who has now taken on the role of pre-construction director.

Baggaley managing director Phil Askin said: “Mark is a highly-accomplished manager whose intelligent approach to his own work and to relationships with clients, sub-contractors and staff ensures the successful delivery of projects.

“His extensive and varied knowledge of the construction industry, and his work within the company throughout his career, make him the ideal person.”

Mark joined the Mansfield company as a management trainee in 1993. He was promoted to the role of project manager in 2001 and was appointed divisional manager in 2011.

He won the CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) Construction Manager of the Year Award in October 2010, in the category of New Build and Refurbishment Projects valued at between £8m and £14m, for his role as project manager on the Loughborough SportPark project.

Mark said: “Baggaley is a great company to be part of, with its family values, its commitment to customer service and its focus on delivering award-winning construction projects to the highest of standards.”
