Mansfield based firm LuKas at Work are celebrating after being nominated for a UK Blog Award (or the Blog-scars as they’re known) for the second year running.
The nominated blog is one that LuKas at Work writes on behalf of their client Jobco-op who have become a finalist in the Automotive and Most Innovative Categories.
Jobco-op is a recruitment company who specialize in automotive recruitment, as well as many other areas.
Company Director Katie Trinder said: “To be nominated for the UK Blog Awards two years in a row is absolutely overwhelming.
“Last year we were up against the likes of the British Museum, Very and the WWF, which is obviously very stiff competition.
“This year the awards have grown in popularity, as there’s nothing else like it for bloggers, as it’s a growing industry.
“The volume of entrants has been even greater and more impressive this year.
“To make the final of two categories is phenomenal and we are delighted for our client Jobco-op, because their whole ethos is to take the traditional values of recruitment and work them in a new and innovative way. Their Social Media presence and blog is a huge part of what they do”
Lucy added, “From a LuKas at Work perspective we always give the very best to our clients and deliver what they want from a blog and their Social Media marketing.
To see the blogs we write for our clients get nominated for awards is hugely rewarding, because it means we are helping them achieve their goals.
Blogging is becoming a huge part of how people want to market their business and there are bloggers making their living from writing them.”
LuKas at Work is run by sisters Katie and Lucy Trinder who as well as offering social media support for companies all over the world, also write blogs not only for clients, but for themselves too.
The awards take place in London in April.
