Mansfield firm Hall Fast scale the heights

A TEAM from an award winning Mansfield industrial supplies company has completed the Three Peaks Challenge for charity.

The Hall Fast team has so far raised £5,000 for Action Medical Research after scaling the heights of Ben Nevis in the Scottish Highlands, Scafell in the Lake District and Mount Snowdon in Norths Wales.

It wants to raise £10,000 for the charity, with donations still coming in.

Forty-five other teams took part in the challenge, with only 15 successfully travelling and completing their climbs in the 24-hour period.

The Hall-fast team finished in 29 hours and 45 minutes and a total climb time of 15 hours 36 minutes

Owner Malcolm Hall led the team alongside Matt Jones, from Merrix-Grogan financial advisers; Rob Bray, from accountants Stopford Associates; Dean Bray, of estate agents Lime Living; skills broker and leadership and management specialist Bruce McLeod and Mark Pearson, from Thera East Midlands.

Said Mr Hall: “I have worked hard to be successful in my business and I’m really passionate about giving something back and helping others.”

The charity funds and carries out research to help help stop the suffering of babies and children caused by disease and disability.
