The countdown is continuing to the high-profile Chad Business Awards with the deadline for entries now looming.
There are 15 categories in total including excellence in manufacturing, and new business of the year.
And there is certain to be no shortage of entrees which marks the quality-in-depth of the companies based in the region.
Entries close on September 12 and the lucky winners will be presented with their awards in November at the John Fretwell Centre in Sookholme.
This year Plastek are associate sponsor of the awards.
Judges will be looking for evidence of how the business start-up was achieved, growth and stability of the business to date, a sound understanding of the market and competitors, and a sustainable vision for the future.

The awards are sponsored by Mansfield Building Society; Rainworth Škoda; Mark Leeson; Mansfield 2020; Pure Awards Creative; Mansfield Manor Hotel; Vision West Nottinghamshire College; Sutton Community Academy and Academy Transformation Trust Further Education; and Tommy Tippee.
We are edging ever closer to the deadline for entries for the Chad Business Awards.
The awards are one of Mansfield’s highest profile awards and winning one says a lot about the quality of your organisation and the strength of your team.
Our awards attract a range of entries from across all sectors from both small and larger organisations.
But the winners all have one thing in common – they are truly excellent at what they do and have proved this by winning a Chad Award.
We want to help you raise the profile of your organisation and enhance its reputation by promoting the great work you are doing, while at the same time providing you with a platform to celebrate your success.
The excellence in manufacturing award will be presented to the company which demonstrates a modern, efficient and innovative approach to manufacturing.
It includes a commitment to the excellence and development of its products, a track record for training and passing on skills to future generations and the desire to promote the region as a centre for manufacturing excellence.
The new business of the year category is open to businesses which have started operating since June 1, 2014.
Businesses are welcome to enter more than one category if they feel they are applicable.
However, please put forward separate entries for each category.
