One of two Cooplands’ Bakery shops has closed in Mansfield.
The Doncaster-based firm has gone into administration with the closure of more than 300 jobs across the north and midlands.
However, part of the business has been sold to restructuring firm ReSolve, securing 259 jobs, and keeping 41 of the 80 stores open.
This includes Mansfield’s Four Seasons Shopping Centre is set to remain, but the store on Berry Hill Lane has shut.
Adrian Berry, joint administrator, said: “Regrettably, we have had to close 39 retail stores, together with the bakery and head office in Doncaster.
“However, there is some positive news with the sale of 41 retail stores and the entire mobile sandwich van business.”
