A FAMILY business which has been operating for 31 years is sponsoring one of the categories in this year’s Chad Business Awards.
Bosses at Sutton’s ETS Tyre and Autocentres say they are ‘honoured’ to be backing the awards by sponsoring the New Business of the Year section.
Jim Nicholls, retail operations manager, said: “ETS Tyre & Autocentres are now a highly successful chain of Autocentres, but as with all businesses we had to start from scratch it is now 31 years since John Eden sold his first tyre.
“The business is now run by his two sons Matt and Jim whom still use the core values laid out by their father all those years ago.
“All the staff of ETS are proud to be part of the heritage that has been created through many years of hard work.”
And Jim says the company’s backing of the New Business of the Year category reflects this hard work.
He added: “ETS fully appreciate the level of effort and determination required to get a new business up and running and make it a successful and profitable organisation for this reason we are both delighted and honoured to be the sponsors of new business of the year award for 2012.”
The fourth edition of our awards will find and reward the very best local companies and entrepreneurs.
There are some top prizes up for grabs again, ranging from Business Idea of the Year and Young Business Person of the Year to Community Contribution of the Year and Most Innovative Property/Building Development.
This year’s awards ceremony will be held on Thursday 22nd November with a glittering event at the John Fretwell Sporting Complex at Sookholme, where the best of the area’s business community will be showcased.
The black tie event will see guests enjoy a champagne reception, four-course meal and ceremony.
Tickets for the awards evening are on sale now, tables of 10 people can be purchased for £500 plus vat and individual tickets are £50 plus vat per person.
