THE COUNTDOWN has begun and by the end of November we will know who is best in business locally following the launch of the third annual Chad Business Awards.

Last year the top prize of business of the year was won by staff at Rainworth Fencing, and now the search is on for the 2011 champions and winners in 13 other categories.

The competition is open to organisations of any size based in the Chad’s circulation area.

Entries are encouraged from companies who think they are working harder and smarter than their competitors to create a business edge.

Entries can come from people nominating their own businesses or from third parties.

Entering, making a short-list or winning can motivate staff, increase customer confidence and raise your profile among potential new customers - providing a sharper edge.

The awards are organised by Chad and supported by other local organisations, and judged by a panel of impartial respected members of the local business community.

Winners receive a trophy and the right to use the awards logo on letterheads and marketing information.

The ceremony will be held on Thursday 24th November at the John Fretwell Sporting Complex, Sookholme Road, Sookholme, Mansfield.
