Plans are in place to build affordable housing on an area of cleared land on the Bull Farm estate in Mansfield.

The land on Booth Crescent sits next to Bull Farm Middle School.

Submitted by UK Construction Ltd in partnership with Derwent Living House Association, all 14 houses will be designated for rental through an affordable housing scheme.

Thirteen of the houses will have two bedrooms, with the final house to have three bedrooms.

They will consist of small groups of terraced houses.

All will have at least one car parking space and private rear gardens.

In a statement prepared by UK Construction Ltd, it reads: “The site is currently cleared land and bounded to all sides by metal fencing.

“As such, the site neither provides publicly-accessible open space, or an attractive area of land.”
